In 2020, The Braelyn Aubrey Foundation Nonprofit was able to help approximately 150 Pre-K age students through the generous donations we received. The students were able to acquire necessary visual aids, puzzles, and other educational items to aid them in learning and improving motor, cognitive, and self-help skills. More importantly, they were given the chance to develop confidence, to feel wanted and to develop dreams for their future, dreams that have included the realization that self-independence is in-fact possible.
In 2021, we donated proceeds to the Ascension Sacred Heart Foundation for The Studer Family Children’s Hospital in Pensacola, Florida. We were fortunate to be able to purchase the Millard Crash Pad, Sensory Pad with foam blocks for Sumlar Therapy in Ozark, Alabama. A donation was also made to Nemours Children’s Health. More specifically, Nemours Children Specialty Care, Jacksonville, Florida. And lastly, we were able to purchase items from Prisma Health Children’s Hospital’s, Columbia, SC, wish list for patients who were in need of various items. All of the entities were pivotal in Braelyn’s treatment and development.
In 2022, it is our hope to assist in the development of a playground for children with impairing conditions. We are currently researching costs and exploring options to make this happen.
