Our first physical 5K was cancelled due to Covid-19. We made a donation with the proceeds from the race to the Lex 1 Educational Foundation. The money is being used for the Pre-K Special Services program that Braelyn benefited from so much. This program is essential for the development of Pre-K aged children. The program helped Braelyn with many of her motor skills that were being reinforced at home and with other therapists. We were happy to give back to a program that benefits others like it benefited our daughter. The link is from 7/30/2020.

We recently spoke to the Fort Jackson Exceptional Family Member Program coordinator about what their program did for Braelyn and how important it is. It is a program set up for special needs families and active duty service members are entitled to this program. Our intent was to share the benefits and advocate for the program. This article further highlights Braelyns story and how our founder came to create the foundation and start the 5K. This article is from October 4, 2019.
